Steven Taylor, DVM

Dr. Steven Taylor has been a part of Deep Creek Veterinary Hospital since 2001. His interest in Veterinary Medicine started while he was in Junior High School. As an early teen, Dr. Taylor assisted in running the family farm- caring for cows and calves. He particularly loved biology and continued his path to becoming a veterinarian. He attended East Tennessee State University prior to transferring to the University of Tennessee. In 1983, Dr. Taylor graduated with a B.S. in Agriculture and a Major in Animal Science. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1986.

When Dr. Taylor is not working, he enjoys a multitude of activities. He enjoys the outdoors, working on his project vehicles, and spending time with his family. Pictured are him, his daughter, and his grand-dog.
