At Deep Creek Veterinary Hospital we like to ensure our patients maintain the same level of vaccination and preventative care, to avoid the spread of viruses, bacteria and parasites. Pets must be current on the following, unless medical exceptions are advised:
DHPP (Canine) or FVRCP (Feline)
Rabies (Both Canine and Feline)
A current fecal test, for internal parasites, is also required with negative results.
Pets also must be free of flea and ticks, if found during their stay, treatment will be administered.
If your pet is a puppy or kitten, or on a special needs diet, we request that you bring a sealed container of enough food to accommodate the stay. Please do not bring big bags of food as our storage space in the kennels is minimal.
You are welcome to bring toys or treats that you would like your pet to have.
We do not recommend bringing large bedding as we do not have commercial washers or dryers.
Stainless steel bowls are used in our facility.
You will not be charged on your last day of boarding if your pet is picked up before 12 or if your pet receives a bath the day of pick-up.
Evening pick-up must be at least 30 minutes before closing to allow time to review your pets stay.
We reserve the right to not accept pets that are overly aggressive or pose a threat to themselves or the staff.
